People experience the presence of Jesus Christ the moment they enter the church building. This is the role our ushers play each service. The ministry of ushering is a vital part of our church ministry. Serving as doorkeepers armed with warm smiles and accommodating countenance, the ushers are responsible for creating vibrant first impressions through their greetings, setting the tone in preparation for worship and maintaining the atmosphere of reverence and order.
They serve as a visible representation of the church as they communicate cordiality the moment somebody enters the door. For the first-timers, they act as their first witnesses about Jesus Christ. Indeed, much has been laid on their shoulders for this is how important our ushers are.
